For those of you who would like to do a Murph to celebrate Memorial Day I have written a modified version.
Because it was hot here in Austin today and I have my little one with me I needed to find a way to do my Murph without taking him out in the heat. So, here is what I came up with. I was able to run the first mile on a treadmill and then do the remainder of the workout indoors with my son cheering me on (he is easily impressed by box jumps!).
You can further modify this as needed. Some ideas are doing more Kettlebell swings if you don’t have a box, doing jump roping instead of KB swings if you don’t have a kettlebell, doing knee down pushups.
